Advocate

We believe in the power of film to create conversations that spark change. At Uncommon Heights, everyone believes it is their responsibility to approach the creation of documentary films by advocating for the subject and communities being highlighted as much as we can. We go all in and hope to leave a lasting positive impact once a film has wrapped. It’s important for us to care about other people, and as Robert Frost said, “No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader.” If we don’t care, how can we expect others to?

We want our films to be used to help fundraise for causes, to inspire the recruitment of volunteers, and to help lead to an ultimate solution to problems in our societies.
